Part II Registration

The Mary Hoard Art Show is a two-part event showcasing the immense creative talent within our community. Part 1 features artwork from young artists in grades K-5, while Part 2 highlights impressive entries from middle and high school students and Jefferson County adults. With a variety of 2D, 3D, and digital works on display, this annual exhibition celebrates local artistry across all ages and skill levels. Admission to the museum is free, and the show is open to the public during regular museum hours.

Mark your calendars for the second Saturday in June! Dairy Day at the MOOseum is a fun-filled event celebrating the rich dairy heritage of our community. Perfect for families, this event offers hands-on activities, and the chance to interact with the seven milking breeds of cows. It’s a great way to learn about the role dairy has played in shaping our region while enjoying a day of educational fun at the MOOseum!

Event is from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., with the Cow Parade starting at 1:30 p.m.!

The Hoard Historical Museum’s 4th of July Ice Cream Social is a beloved annual tradition that brings the community together for a day of fun and celebration. Enjoy delicious ice cream while relaxing on the museum’s beautiful lawn, surrounded by history. The event features live music, family-friendly activities, and, of course, plenty of sweet treats. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day with a touch of nostalgia and community spirit!
