Mornings @ the Museum
First Friday of the Month, October – May, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Bring your Pre-K children or classroom to explore the Museum! The Museum will open one hour early to allow younger kids to experience the Museum at their own pace (and volume!). Play stations, snacks, and coffee for parents and teachers will be provided.

Each month will feature a different theme with special activity that may be worked on while at the Museum as well as a story time at 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Saturday Morning Scholars Programs

Chemistry is Magic with the UW-Whitewater Chemistry Club
Saturday, February 3, 10:30 a.m. – noon

The UW-Whitewater Chemistry Department will highlight the magical world of chemistry. Students and professors will explain chemical concepts while presenting reactions that make chemistry magical, right before your eyes. There will be reactions demonstrating concepts of gases, liquids, and solids, and much, much more!

Bugs! with Insect Ambassadors from UW-Madison
Saturday, March 3, 10:30 a.m. – noon

Come to the Museum to see live insects! Come learn about insects, how they can be good & bad, how they survive in a world full of predators, and discover how insects communicate with each other.

Saturday Morning Scholar Programs are free and entertaining for elementary schoolers  and adults!

Collectors Show
Saturday, February 17, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Reserve your table by calling (920) 563-7769. Hoard Museum Members – $5/table, Non-Members – $10/table, Kids – $5/table  Max 2 tables (3×6 feet) per person. You may share a table with another collector.  Free to attend!

This event is an opportunity for collectors to display and share their collections with the Museum’s many visitors. It is a great way for people to show off what they love. This year, we are excited to encourage all collectors to display their collections at the museum. This year’s Collectors Show is “open,” meaning that all varieties of collections are welcome at the Museum. Collectors are responsible for setting up and putting away their own collections; the Museum will open early for collections set-up. To rent a table, please contact the Museum. Payment must be received in full before a table(s) may be reserved.
